Artist Bio:

Matt is a photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has contributed to The Washington Post, The Times of London, New York Times, ProPublica, HuffPost, WUNC, WHYY, The Assembly NC, Garden & Gun and Redux, among other news and editorial clients. He has worked with UNC, NC State, Democracy NC, Roadbook, ArtLifting, NC Restaurant and Lodging Association, and NC Institute of Medicine among other brands, organizations and non-profits. He teaches analog photography and portrait classes at NC State via the Craft Center.

For his personal work, he shoots on film & prints the images by hand in the dark room. He has shown his work in juried shows in North Carolina and New York, including North Carolina Artists Exhibition, Carolina Roots, Cardinal Compass, and FRESH at Artspace.
